Women’s and Men’s Health.
Have you been suffering from the occasional bladder leak when playing sport? Or notice your bladder urgency when pulling the car into the garage? Have you laughed so hard that you peed yourself and thought this bit of leakage is normal?
Well, it’s certainly common but it’s NOT normal and there is great evidence that with individual pelvic floor assessment and specific treatment you can improve or cure your symptoms.
Jen Vardy has a special interest in Pelvic Health and is currently completing her Master’s in Women’s Health and Continence at Curtin University. She has specific training in the assessment of Women’s and Men’s Pelvic Health conditions and is passionate in providing education and support to her clients and the rest of the Physio team here at Form and Practice. Assessment and management of Pelvic Health conditions require a thorough and holistic approach.
Jen wishes to spread the message that incontinence and other pelvic conditions in both women and men can improve significantly with correct and timely management. She has held several free community education sessions for all ages. Don’t wait to see if your symptoms will just improve. Often they won’t and can become progressively more debilitating, affecting your quality of life.
